Our company was formed back in 1990 with the aim of supplying high quality reproduction oil paintings and picture frames to the art trade. The company founders had worked in the business around the world for many years and it became apparent that there was a lack of attractive and affordable art to satisfy the trade demand.

The Paintings.
After much searching and negotiating we now deal with over five hundred artists worldwide. The fact that they are student or unknown studio artists means that they don't overprice their work, and so we can offer very reasonable prices for most paintings. We watch the market closely and usually have in stock the subjects and images that are currently popular.

If we don't have the image you are looking for, we have many images you can order from pictures on display at our showroom or you can bring in your own photo or print to be commissioned. These are sent to our best artist for the job. We can have portraits or any subject painted to any size you may require. To do this we really need to see the image and then we can give a firm quote. We will require a 30% deposit and once paid it takes approximately 8 weeks for the painting to be dry enough to be sent to you.
(PLEASE NOTE: We will refuse to take commissions for any work that may be under copyright or where any uncertainty exists as to the status of the image with regard to copyright.)

The Frames.
Of course if you are going to stock paintings then you are going to need frames so once again after much searching we now import readymade frames and lengths of moulding from all over the world. We concentrate on value for money so our prices are always very competitive and the quality we offer is probably the best in the UK market. Whether you need a 3/4" moulding or a 7 1/2" reproduction antique frame, you will always be pleased with our quality and service.

Our busiest customers now are galleries on the high street and interior designers who need custom work for particular projects. We also supply individual art dealers and many other companies in the art business. Please note that we do have a strict "Trade only" policy to protect our customers, and unless you can prove that you are a trader we reserve the right to refuse to supply you.

We have an open plan showroom of over 8000sq/ft where we display all of our paintings and frames. You can call in any time between 9am and 6pm from Monday to Friday to buy your stock or just to have a look round. Our friendly staff will be glad to help with any queries you may have and are also able to offer help and advice on such topics as framing, pricing and pretty much anything to do with the commercial art trade.
